He wanted to see the Avatar for himself; to size the enemy up before making his move. So Amon removed his mask and donned street clothes to blend in with the crowd.

He found the Avatar heading toward the pro-bending gym the Fire Ferrets were based in. Her posture was sure, confident. Her body's sway held grace that could only come from a life time of martial art training. She walked as someone untouchable by mortal hands.

Her eyes shinned a brilliant blue. Those eyes gleamed certain in purpose, in the reason for existence. The importance of her position was the center of her little world. The belief of being a god among men shone in those ocean reflecting sky eyes.

How naïve.

Amon would be the one to prove it. He would not only touch the untouchable, but rip the goddess from her pedestal. He would make those naïve blue eyes quiver in fear. He would make her taste terror as she kneeled helpless before him. He would make her proud lips beg for mercy.

Then the world would see how foolish it was to view the Avatar as the great savior.
Just a really short drabble. If you hang around the ASN shipping thread, then you might have already seen it. This little piece was inspired by a certain scene in the LoK trailers. I'm sure you know the one.

And yes, I ship Amorra. Because that kind of crack!ship is too fun in its own twisted way.

Disclaimer: Preview image from KorraNation. And sadly Korra does not belong to me. Neither does Amon, but he's way too creepy for me to want to keep (I'll just borrow him).
